he took a dive into my sand bed seconds after being introduced thursday night - haven't seen him since - 13 month old 90g fowlr

about a year - can't really describe it better - looks like a perfect zit - right in the middle of his eyes - white and bumpy shaped - none of the other fish in my 90g fo have it -

noticed it over the weekend - no pics :notsure:

good points - but i have to admit - concerning my trates - i NEVER did water changes - only top-offs - just started water changes 3 weeks ago - in fact i did another 30% last night - tested 30 minutes ago -my trates are no more than 50 ppm now -

great analogy - thx - but , all 11 fish been introduced slowly over the last 13 months , the last one around xmas time - doncha think if i'm going to have trouble it would have happened already ? - my bio filters have sustained my load , no ?

even they are all small ? - total inches for those fish are 40 - tons of LR and LS -

jon - i was pretty using 2" gallons per fish inch as my rule - i have 40 now - i max out at 45 in my 90G - allowing room for all to grow i am all done - just wanted to try a squeeze 1 more , if i could- reefer545 - i agree sfe is a bad idea - get large , sloppy eaters , may eat my smallest ,etc...

the fish i have now come to a total of 40" - granted the tank is only 13 months old , so all fish WILL grow - i kinda knew i was maxxed out anyway - ok forget it - i'll just have to wait until i can pull off a new 90g or a 180g and get whatever i want then - thx guys

allright then - but , what about , if , after trates get down to 25 or less ? - any chance of adding 1 of them ?

those trates are down from 100 or more - i am on my 4th week of 30% water changes !

make it 3 for 3 - they work well together - for me.............

i used 2 sided heavy duty tape from home depot - i've got 2 power strips under my tank - i havent had a reason to move the strips yet - and they stayed strong whenver i needed to unplug something - if i remember correctly - a fat roll of it was $8 -

here's another , realated question - will the addt'l LR in the sump , instead of bio-balls, allow me to increase livestock and bio-load in the DT ?
