Any chance you can get a blue sponge from LR I've been looking to buy one of those for a while can't find it anywhere!! My LFS cures thier own LR (I assume this is done when you see a 250 gal. tank with only LR in it being filtered all the time)..they want 6-7 dollars for live Fiji rock,cured...

They are just slow with the emails they get to it eventually...be patient try calling them.

I've seen a foxface about 15 inches at my LFS not sure if it was a mag. foxface or reg.

when people say put some garlic on the nori what exactly does that mean ??

Is it better to dose purple up, liquid calcium, iodine,strontium, mag., etc.. directly into the DT by the return pump and or Power Head ? Or better directly into the sump ?

When feeding Nori you just drop it in or tie it to a rock ?

If you order a tang online and you dont know what it is use to eating , whats the best way to start feeding it ? pellets ? forzen foods ? greens ? (lettuce,algae sheets) ? The idea is to get it to eat and build up and good immunje system so it's not as fragile.

I live on the ocean in Deal, NJ and in Rockaway, NY. So I have access to ocean water and sand and shells rocks etc...is it legal for me to pick a nice shell up and put it in my DT ? (The live sand is on my private property and shells..) Do i need to throw it back to the ocean ?

3k for that tang? Thats pathetic imo unless you enjoy collecting rare fish. I think It's not worth it at all, nor do I fancy it. I like the Chevron Tang,and about 10 other tangs over that one. that are 1/30 the price. maybe if you buy it get it insured lol.

They give good value, my plan is to upgrade soon I hope :smile:

Is there anything wrong with keeping small tangs in a 80 Gal. for one year then trading them in to the LFS or giving them to friends with bigger tanks ? Or upgrading if you have the means to... ?

Still going well, hope it stays that way.
