okay, I'm setting up a QT today. How should I go about treating them? All I have is about a 10-15 gallon tank for the seven fish. What about the snails? Do I pull them too? And will this kill off my live rock and sand?

sound side or pacific side? Sound is pretty skeezy man. I wouldn't trust any water from it. As for pacific side, it's a little cleaner, but I'd just fill it with tap and start running cleaning agents.

40 pounds LR, 60 pounds LS, and 3 snails. I haven't seen any return of Ich so far and I think it might have just been stress. I'm keeping a close eye on all fish for any signs, but so far no one looks sickly.

I'm unsure if Clark's still has any cleaner shrimp and their clean-up crew selection is low. Anyone in the area that's selling any off? I'm just starting up my tank and working through the process of getting things normal.

I do have live rock and I honestly have no planned treatment yet. Reading through your thread, copper seems a good treatment but I'm going to go discuss at the LFS. I'm going to set up a paralel tank for water changes and QT today or tomorrow hopefully.

just an update: I just noticed he only has one white spot visible now. It's definitely faded overnight.

It looked like the pictures in that thread, but I'll attempt to snap a photo. He likes to stay as far away from the camera as possible.

I noticed today that my new coral beauty is developing white dots along the top side of his body and I'm concerned it's ick. i don't currently have a quarantine tank, but i plan on getting one set up tomorrow. is there a huge problem with him being in the tank with my other fish for a day more...

is it most likely ick? what would be the cure? i plan on setting up a quarintine tank tomorrow, but what does it require out of the ordinary? anything beyond a skimmer and filter and some live rock?

any suggestions on keeping it in check? I'll run a search of the forums as well.
