I am thinking of getting a purple tang for my 75. Are they really reef safe and do they eat bubble algae as I have read?........Thanks.

Tried Nori on a clip and he would and still will not touch it. From all the posts on LMB feeding he really conviced me that fish really do have indvidual personalities.

After the algae started to dwindle I finally got mine to eat with Formula Two frozen fortified algae cubes. Now he eats everything, eg. frozen brine, pellets, and bits of cocktail prawns.

Forget it. I retested and mag was 1250-1300.I was reading the scale backwards.

Mine was off by that much and thanks to Bang, Beth and others on this board I heeded there advice and bought a refractometer and adjusted it to 35ppt before I added livestock. My tank is doing great, thanks again.

The lights are coralife lunar aqualights and they are right on top of the tank. They do have there own built-in glass cover. They have 2 fans and I have been running them with the canopy over them and my tank temp stays right at 79-80. thanks again for your help.
