I would pay more for captive breed! just knowing that those fish had never seen the ocean and knew that my tank was the best they've ever seen! but for the average buyer, no one that doesn't know any better would not pay more than they have too for the "same thing"... Unfortunetly I can't say...

i'd hafta say i'm pretty lucky with the extra's! 1 cowrie, 2 rock crabs, 2 red polyps, several mushrooms(which multiple'd like crazy!)- all with about 80 lbs of live rock purchased at different times

go with t-5's... you may be dissapointed down the road if you go CF, with t-5's you will be able to mix and match different bulbs, and the amount of light output is so much greater

(despite the fact he knocks stuff over all the time). It doesnt look like any pic's of pencil urchin i've ever seen either- doesnt have the roughness...

I'm curious is that a Nova Pro you have? I am new to the T-5's and just purchased the Nova pro(haven't finished setting up my 55 yet).. Not to sound like a total newby-but do any brand t-5 bulbs work with that fixture?

It's sad thing that they keep ordering em' I dont' even like looking at there selection because of it. you would think they would wise up, even from a business stand point if they don't have the proper care taker, they shouldn't sell anything saltwater..

I would go with the any of the current USA t5 system's.. I've been happy with the sattilite cf 30" in the past, and just currently ordered 48" Nova extreme pro for my 55..(6x54)-$357(including shipping) From everything I heard about Odyssey lights i'd keep my distance...
