Just out of curiosity, How often do you feed your reef? I only have 12 fish in a 180 and many are grazers so I only feed every 3 days. I also have a 55 fuge so they should be getting some food from there.

I do use egg crate to cover, and part is covered with wood that has a external pump mounted on it , so this part of tank stays shaded all the time.

I have a 55 fuge plumbed into my DT and was wondering if it would be harmful to place a SF eel in it. Currently it is growing pods and macros. It has 4" of LS and 40lbs of LR. the fuge is under 24/7 lighting. Would the eel in any way be a bad idea?
