My question is.Did you not notice it when you put the snail in?Then it was probably tiny and is growing just fine on the snail.I would just monitor it.if for some reason it disappears for more than a couple days.then i would search for it.I doubt the coral would die in that amount of time...

Maybe it is dead or dying and something started cleanup early

I just bought a used fixture and it will need new bulbs soon.The current ones are 10k and i'm hoping to get maybe 14k's.It's the Hamilton 2-250watt MH and 2x96 watt PC.

From what i've seen the 10k are very white and the 20k are very blue.The 14k seem to be a very good in between
