Here are my levels. I just have my LR in there. But can I have Nitrite without Ammonia Ammonia 0 Nitrite-0.25 Nitrate-80 PH 8.2 Sal-1.025 My Nitrates were well over 100 so there coming down but does this look right. Im not putting anything in till I get the nitrates lower. Thanks

what about using vodka to lower you nitrates...

Its above 100 and when i did the water change in my big bucket it was 1 to 2 ppm.

I did a 40% water change a week ago and my Nitrates did not budge so I wanted to try something else to kinda speed up the process so I can get my clean up crew in there. I know rushing in sw is bad, but just wanted to know if this worked for anyone...

The LFS told me this would help me get my tank ready. I told them I had High nitrates. The tank has been running for about 4 weeks the LR in there for about 3. Well the stuff is Stability by seachem. thanks

Im not sure i had a ammonia spike its basically 0 now, my nitrate reading only goes to 100. im guessin 200 now around 150.

My ammonia is >0.25. So still do another 70% water or sit on it. Thanks

I did a 40% water change today to lower my nirtates, They did not even budge still well over 100. This tank is 3 weeks old only live rock in there. How many days should i wait to do another one or just let it sit for a while.. Thanks

How long do you wait after a water change to do all your level tests should you see some improvement soon or does it take a day or 2. Thanks

The salt does not need to age? This will not hurt my LR?

I guess im in the process of cycling, 3weeks total up time. there is no livestock in there. I took my water sample to a LFS and the read high there too.

They are 100+. Not sure where it came from originally, My bucket I made up last night were 0-2ppm. So possibly the sand even though its not live. I would say the live rock but it was high before I put that in. So not sure..

Oh sorry its about 3 weeks old, Im doing the water change to get my Nirtates down.
