What else do you have in your tank? I wouldn't use kick-ich or any other med. Use hypo in a QT the parasites will live in the sand for a while and any fish in the tank will become the new host for it. QT all your fish and leave your tank without a host for 3 weeks that will rid you of the ich...

If you can do it all with in an hour you will have no problem But on the rock just leave it in buckets of water and if you can leave a power head in it and even the heater if possible [hr] Bill
