Use a 2inch pvc tube turn off all pumps pour into tube and move around to fill areas you want raised after you have it all in turn pumps back on and you will have a minimal amount of clouding to your water. -- Bill

You have to be careful with Horse Shoes they will tumble your live rock sometimes so if your rock sits on the sand i would skip them for a cuc or star, if its sits on the glass and the sand is poured around it you should be ok --- Bill

I would do a large water change with it just doing top offs you not really adding that much water even in my 135 gal the top off is less than 2 gals so thats just a bit more than 1% of the water volume in the tank. [hr] Bill

I use a PUR water filter on my faucet and it seems to work well for my fish ( and the water tests fine too) there about $35 at Home Depot and i replace the filter about every three months. [hr] Bill
