you may want to try some garlic extreme or extract on the food to entice him to eat - spot feed once or twice if needed.

    Plant identification

if it is grape caulerpa it can, in a short time become a nuisance in a display tank. If you have it in a refuge then it is very good to have - does a great job of sopping up nitrates - given the choice though most would prefer chaeto instead since it is not so invasive

    Sand Sifting Gobies

Gobies are generally pretty simple fish to care for - if your tank is cured and you've given it a little time to "season" then it will be good to go - the "sand sifters" are pretty self explanatory - they sift the sand and extract what they need.

    Foxface Venom

Many consider it to be equal to a bee sting - if you are allergic to bee stings then it could be deadly. Generally people experience the pain at the sting site and a little numbness around it. Either way it's not a lot of fun

Your pics did not get attached so nothing can be seen. You need to post all of your water parameters and at least a description of the algae (color, texture) and you will find the answer here.

    Nitrogen cycle

Temp and PH are definitely low - unless you are going to specialize in cooler water species your temp should be between 78-80 PH is typically 8.2 8.3 Also you wrote "Alk 300" I believe you meant Calcium (CA) 300 that too is a bit low should try to get it up close to 400

    Help Yellow Tang

Test your water and post all of your parameters here and the answer will likely be found. You need salinity and temp readings also. Moving the rock in a tank with inadequate flow could stir up heavy nitrates from a "dead spot" which could temporarily shock some fish. GL

    Active fish for rocks?

Although I believe your tank is too new to be adding more fish right now.... after you have given it a chance to become seasoned then I would offer this suggestion... In one of my tanks I have a six line wrasse and a flame angel and they are none stop in and out and are best buds as well - thay...

    Problem feeding Firefish

I have 2 firefish in my 130 they are always out when the others are out (although they are generally the last to come out) when I feed they seem to NOT want anything but some small flake food. They will not touch mysis or krill and were very picky with Marine Cuisine. I guess you have to figure...

    Major Problems..Need Experts

with what you have in the tank stirring it up wont affect anything with the possible exception of the majano. It will settle down and some of the sediment will layer on the rocks and the majano if he is open..so...assuming your "sucker punch" didn't actually injure him then it may work out as...

    freshwater to salt

You should get rid of the old water and start with 1/2 half new and the other half from your established tank (do a water change). You will need to cycle the tank. If it is to be a QT then you don't want any substrate in it but everything else is pretty much the same routine.

    Aquarium Redo

You can clean the sand by siphonig the upper layer when you do water changes. If you clean the entire sandbed then you'll likely have to re-cycle the tank as you will also be washing away the nitrifying bacteria. You should also stock up with snails as your clean up crew - I prefer the nassarius...

new Yellow Tang not moving, breathing hard

How long has this tank been set up ? Ammonia is toxic to fish - ideally you should have none. How was the fish acclimated to the tank? Also need to know your PH and SG readings.

centipede looking critter found in tank

What you probably have are bristle worms. These are beneficial and help in the processing of waste in the reef and substrate. You can find pics here by searching bristle worms to verify that they are the same as you saw.
