Found him hanging out on the overflow and not sure if it's safe or not to keep in the tank. It seems to be some sort of slug - or shell"less" snail? He's a little smaller than the size of a pea. So is he safe to release or should I dispose of him otherwise?

Can I get some descriptions/pictures of where you all keep your powerheads for flow in your nano's? It seems that no matter where I place or aim the powerhead I'm getting a dustcloud in the water. I'm only using a koralia nano so I doubt too much flow is the problem - just the positioning...

Well I had just bought him and another home last night. I noticed this while he was in QT. The other fish had nothing wrong with it (visibly) at all. I called the store where I had gotten them and described what I was seeing. Guy at the fish store told me that it was a fungus from wounds...

There are these white, definitley raised and almost fuzzy looking bumps on the back underside of this clown. Visible from both sides. Sorry about the pictures - wish I could have gotten clearer. Other than the bumps, fish is doing great - active, eating. What am I looking at here?

Oh and he has been relocated to the only tank I keep with hermits. :p

So I'm sitting back watching my snails running around the tank - nothing else to see in there yet - and I notice one of the snails moving around a bit oddly. I lift the shell to take a peek and guess what - it's not a snail but a hermit crab. Now all the turbos I bought are still accounted for...

Hmm....interesting. I've been having a problem with nitrate levels, but dismissed it to a predator tank with no cleanup crew. I never thought about the bioballs. What are some alternatives that might be better options?

And why I wouldn't want them?? I've been reading several posts lately that seem to regard them as a bad thing. I'm currently using a wet/dry with bioballs. So please explain to me why they are not the best option and what some better alternatives may be? Thanks.
