Rusty Dwarf Angel won't eat

I would say, considering your water parameters, tank size, and the condition of the fish, i think you should take the fish back to your LFS. The pigmy angel fish you have needs at least moderately good water conditions, a varied diet, and most people would recomend at least a 30 gallon tank to...

    Arrow-head crab

They are aggressive crabs, with a tendency to prey on shrimps (i've seen them take out a Coral Banded shrimp even) and small fish. They are meat eating crabs, and can get fairly large...small body but huge legs. They are cool looking but be carefull!

    Cucumber

I have the same cucumber you've got Pudd'n. Red and black. Pretty sweet if you ask me, but are you sure its 12 inches? Mine will extend itself out to a larger size, but in normally remains close to 4". It was probably just excited :p .

    Blue Linkia Star

Wow, i wish i would have known about the problems with touching it, but i've handled mine twice (only picked it up by one of its arms), and it has been alive for almost a year now. Is it only the blue linka that has this characteristic? I'd like to know. Thanks.

    Anyone Have A Mantis Pic???

I convinced my friend to get one for a species only tank and it is really damn cool. Your right though, i too would be pissed if it took out my fish/inverts. I would most likely ask an unsuspecing friend to remove it for me. ...

    Help with shrimp!

Technically, i still live in GR. I live in East lansing all year though (MSU), but sadly my aquarium still resides in GR with my parents. Trying to find some help on how to move it here :D . Hey, by the way, which LFS do you go to? I've been to most all of them in GR, and there is only...

    Blue Linkia Star

Dont know about the lobster (I wouldn't be too worried though), the marble sized hermit will leave it alone....but....that golf ball sized one may be a problem. Bigger hermits tend to be distructive, especially in a reef tank. Oh, and if it's harry...harry legs and whatnot, you really should...

    Anyone Have A Mantis Pic???

Mantis shrimp are about the most interesting and amazing things i have ever seen. Check them out at Mantis Shrimp Simply amazing creatures, too bad they are considered by some as pests.

    Blue Linkia Star

When i first got my blue linka it did the same thing. It went right up to water level, and it hid behind my power head. I watched it stay up there for about 5-6 hours, decided to help with the introductions to my tank, picked it up gently and placed it on the live rock. It attached itself and...

    Moving an aquarium

Here is the scoop. I bought my aquarium a few years back, set it up and had it running a year before i went off to college. Im out of the dorms now and about to move into an apartment and i need my tank back! (I cry myself to sleep every night....that serious.) Its 75 gal, probably close to...
