submerg. it is a 3/4" return hole drilled in the tank. and a mag 9.5 pump. the overflow i believe is rated for 400gph.

please try not to change the subject... but no i dont buy things from *****, i was just saying that they have alot of the equip that the other person bought from a lfs for alot cheaper...but i dont really shop there. i do have 1 fish from there and it has been living great for 3 months so far...

maybe mag 3 for return pump. you gotta figure how long your return line is first

i need to get some pvc asap today. im not sure how to connect the pvc to the pump and to the return pipe... should i used glue to seal the pipes to it? then i wouldnt be able to clean them...lemme no...

the tupperware under the wetdry part is no longer there. i have been setting up the tank for a while now and running into little problems here and that is what is prolonging the process..i want to make sure that i am able to mantain all the pumps and everythign once it is under the stand. but...

once i put the "drop in fuge" in then its going to be VERY hard for me to take it out with the stand that im using...can anyone else tell me if this is gonna be a bad idea or good?

a sump is better because it gives your tank more water volume and less of a chance for error. its also a place you can keep all your stuff like heaters, skimmer, pump, fuge, etc... you can make your own for cheap too...
