    what is the smallest skimmer?

    what is the smallest(hieght) skimmer with a rating around 150+/- Im looking at th asm g2 or the mrc m1. which is the smallest yet still good enough to handle a 90g with a 30g sump agressive? i dont have alot of room to work with under my stand. or are there any good hob skimmers?

    you can prob get a dwarf lion. clown trigger is too big.. sfe should be ok, not sure about 2. i have snails and shrimp and cleaners in my aggressive tank for a while and it goes good. i ahve sfe, humu, puffer. so sometimes ur lucky, sometimes ur not..

    so in the middle of my return line i have a ball valve. i have it turned 1/4 of the way to slow the flow a little and my tank is pretty silent. with the ball valve open all the way it is terribly loud because the pump is pumping so fast. i dont understand if having it set up with the ball valve...

    which is better... having the ball valve turned so it slows teh flow of the pump? or having it open and listening to a loud overflow..? i have a mag 9.5 pump on a 90g with a 400gph overflow. when i turn the ball valve so it is like half way off the over flow is perfectly quiet. when i have it...

    well its around 1-2" cause i went out and got more sand before i read that. i have a refugium so that should help with the trates.... thanks bang guy

    ahhhhhhhhh..........i hate dsb's......... i might jsut leave it at one inch or maybe make it 2"... do most people on here have a dsb? or does anyone keep it low like i would like to...?

    i am setting up a 90g aggresive...how small of a sand bed can i use? 1/4" - 1" is what it looks like i will have once the water is clear and i can tell. i dont really like the look of deep sand beds. what are the pros and cons of a sand bed this size?

    ok im going to depot right now. so i need some 1" pvc, ball valve, 2 45degree angles, and teflon paste? see the return pipe..how do i connect the piping to that? just stick it in and use some teflon paste?
