Yeah I would move most of the water and LR to a rubbermaid with wheels. Suggesting that your Salinity is 34PPT and you said your tank is 65G that would mean that just the water in your tank weights approx 560LBs! Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I had a similar issue but mine was due to huge Salinity issues when the tank was new I lost about 10 snails. I left the shell alone and I havent had an issues, I have some hermit crabs and I'm hoping they will take over the dead shells.

So has your water always been cloudy? Does your PS have an air valve to adjust the bubble rate?

More information needed, What size tank? What brand and size protein skimmer? The water became cloudy after you did a water change?
