Yeah... not good, I used to live in AL and we would get them in the house from time to time, but they like water, they usally live near lakes and under rocks, so your sump is like a lake indoors...

It doesnt have a body... it looks like its growing from the rocks... I first saw it in the sand in the back of a cave, then it was poking up from my zoos, now its comming out of the rock pictured... is it a Brittle star? and if it is its leg is 4 or 5 inches in length!

Any ideas??? It is growing out of the rock in a few places, if i grap it with the tongs it retracts...

From what I understand the only reef safe trigger is the crosshatch trigger, which is pretty hard to find and alot of $$$ expect to spend 400-600 on her, and good luck finding a small one.
