My Flame Angel has a cloudy appearance to one eye - right in the center of its eye. It's still eating fine but I don't know how to determine exactly what it has. I'm thinking it might be an eye fungus. I have checked all the levels in my tank and they are perfect.
I have a 75 gal reef tank...
I have mushrooms in my tank that has about 6 or 7 watts per gal. I also add mineral suppliments. They still aren't reproducing like crazy though. Can someone explain how i could make them reproduce by cutting them with a razor.
I was wrong on my lighting. I actually have 520 watts of pc lighting in a 75 gal tank. I need to purchase corals that like being higher up on the live rock. Any suggestions?
I just purchased an umbrella toadstool and am not quite sure how to feed it. Do they eat phytoplankton or brine shrimp?
I have it placed high on the live rock. I have 500 watts of VHO lighting. Does anyone know what are their lighting needs?
Thanks,
Casey
75 gal reef tank
I have mushrooms that will not get big. I am using reef solutions which are minerals, calcium, and started iodine. I also had photoplankton for my clam. I have 500 watts on my tank too. What can i do to make them multiply more and get bigger.
I bought 5 velvet nudibranches for my 75 gal and they are not doing anything for my planaria. Does anyone have a pic of planaria. I know people say that they will starve to death but they haven't hardly eating anything. What can I do?
The 6 velvet nudibranches I bought have survived but are basically not doing much. I have so much planeria I thought they would start chowing down like crazy. They just stay on the live rock and move very little.
Does anyone know if they prefer a warmer tank? Any info about them would be...
With the amount of planeria I have in my tank, it will take a long time for the nudibranches to starve. Will they only eat live planeria? I can't tell how much of the planeria is alive - do they die off in a day or 2? I can't see the flat worms move but they cover the live rock in my tank...
Just received my shipment of 6 velvet nudibranches to hopefully attack the planeria which has taken over my 75 gal tank. Are nudibranches nocturnal? They aren't moving around too much. I took a long time acclimating them to the tank. I know they're really sensitive so I'm holding my breath...
I have ordered crabs and other stuff from this wensite and I love their deals with the products and the shipping. Why don't they sell any other corals besides the ricodda mushroom and the umbrella mushroom. Can anyone who has a close relation to the people who work on this website encourage the...
Thanks for your help. I was also wondering are meat corals considered a brain coral. They look very similar? I couldn't find meat corals in my book although I found some information online.
Any suggestions for corals that don't mind being higher up on the live rock?
I bought a meat coral 2 days ago and placed it toward the top of my live rock in a 75 gallon tank. I just read that it likes low lighting. Right now it looks like it is doing well but I'm concerned that maybe it won't like all the lighting and may start to react to it. I have 500 watts of...
I have been adding Reef Solutions to my 75 gal reef aquarium every other day. I would like to see my mushrooms grow and spread and haven't been getting great results with Reef Solutions. Should I add iodine in addition to Reef Solutions? What could I expect from adding iodine to the tank. Any...
