Does anyone know where on the internet I can get diy metal Halide canopy and Lights or how much they cost.

Where would I find one of these DIY projects. Also I am 16 years old will this be hard for me. I am handy with some tools and my dad knows some more than me. Are they hard to set up and work?

How much for just the Metal Halide canapy with light bulbs

They are 3 canopies with 2 55 watt bulbs in each of them. They are enclosed. The black one has a reflector on it and both light bulbs are 2 small tubes(light bulb) as one bulb. The other 4 lights are just 4 big cyclenders.

I don't know I was looking on the internet its says 2 175 MH and 2 110 watts. What is a good price range on these lights including the canopy(Metal Halide):eek:

I love these nudibranches especcially since they are going to eat and destroy all my planaria. After all the planaria is gone I heard that they starve to death. I don't want this to happen. Does anyone know what kind of sponge the eat and maybe I can feed them that way.:(

Does anyone know what a 5,500k bulb looks like color wise(is it white. Also what doea a 10,000k bulb look like is it blue at all. If I want a bulb that is blue do I go for a 20,000k bulb. So confused. Thanks for your help.

I am wanting to get a Metal Halide Setup, new hood and bulbs. Anyways, If I have a 75 gal tank that is 18 inches deep and 48 inches long. Should I go with 2 175 MH and 40 watt florescent or 2 175 and 110 watt florescent. I want to have a lot of corals and clams but is there such a thing as too...

I am looking at MH lighting and I was wondering if your 20,000k lighting is really blue. Also do you kow what color 5,500k and 10,000k lighting looks like (color wise) I want to have a blue color to my tank to make the color of fish and corals illuminate.:eek:

I am getting Metal Halide bulbs and I want to have a blue tinted light for my tank. I know that the higher the Kalvin the bluer it gets is 5,500 k blue at all or should I get a 10,000k bulb if I want a blue light.:eek:
