    General Care

I remember asking Spanko the same question about a tank I had seen. He told me that in my case the best thing I could do was take a picture of the tank I wanted to model my tank after and print the picture out and tape it to my tank. I guess he did take into consideration my expertise in the hobby

    Tank has arrived!

You may also want to not have your PVC so level, this way you can help your flow move along You may also want to consider placing on the vertical support behind the sump a gang style electrical equipment timer

If you are going to hatch brine shrimp and grow them out you need to remember that they need a constant food supply. When I grow out newly hatched brine I feed then a mixture of one teaspoon of baby food pureed sweet potatoes and one teaspoon of baby food peas into one cup of water. I add...

    Water Change Pump

IMO it’s much easier to adjust salinity ph. and temp in the new water to match the DT and add it as fast as you can for the sake of convenience I personally have never heard of any adverse effects of a rapid water change when new and existing water parameters were fairly close

    Leather resurrection

This situation has been talked about a number of times but as the saying goes “a picture is worth a thousand words” I thought I would take new reef hobbyists through the proses of leather corals sloughing-off a thin top layer of tissue by posting pictures as my leather goes through this proses...
