    New 75g Reef Tank

Pegasus, I am currently using my return pump to power my phosban reactor. Plenty of flow... in fact, I think it might be a little too much if it grinds down too much. The good news is that the phosphate levels in the water column are probably very low. I added that GFO to the phosban reactor...

How do you clean your filter socks?

Ive only been using filter socks for the last four weeks or so, and used to I was just able to rinse it under tap and let it dry - but recently the junk in it has clogged up the 200 micron felt filter sock. I read where you can put it in a bucket with chlorox bleach and let it sit for a little...

end of hunting season, good memories.

I gave up hunting after I became a taxidermist. I regularly see deer that score 150-200. The places that I can afford to hunt are in the 80s and 90s. lol - I get enough deer meat for free from my parents, without me having to spend money to go harvest it myself. If I didn't get free deer meat, I...

    75g fish list help

Ive done two tangs before in a 75g... a yellow tang and a sailfin tang. I've also had a yellow tang and a kole tang in the same tank before... Mainly I'm just talking about the order I'm adding them, I guess.

    Cinnamon clownfish

Maroons are supposed to be more aggressive than cinnamons... so that's a good sign.

    7 x 2.5 x 2.5 Aussie peninsular build !

LOL... I don't think anyone would do that for me unless I was dying and they wanted to lay claim to my equipment/coral.

    75g fish list help

Once again, I post this because I still need some ideas. I'm more of a coral person than a fish person... I already have: 2 Cinnamon clownfish. I'm looking at adding a fairy wrasse and a blenny next week if this is possible? Then I would like to add a flame angel - even though I have heard so...

    7 x 2.5 x 2.5 Aussie peninsular build !

I would li think that we are the same kind of people here in the US. However, since this is a national forum, our members are spread out over the entire US. I only know of two people who are even remotely close to Louisiana - where I live. Even then, it's about a 10 hour drive to people who are...

    Cinnamon clownfish

I think that I made a mistake adding these clowns before I added a couple of gobies. I hope next week isn't too late to add the other small peaceful fish that I wanted to add. Looks like my fish list is going to have to be cut a little short because of the aggressive nature of these little...

    New 75g Reef Tank

Yep! I know how aggressive those cinnamon clowns can get. They are kinda fighting between each other this morning. I'm considering taking them back to the store and trading them for two ocellaris percula clownfish. I want to be able to have a diversity of fish in the tank, and I think over time...

    Cinnamon clownfish

I know that clownfish often establish a pecking order. Yesterday I added two cinnamon clowns at the same time- lights out and lights out all night. This morning I turn my lights on and the larger of the two starts swimming over and picking on the other one. How long might you guess this behavior...

    Dipping clams....o.k to do??

You don't dip clams. But you do turn them over and inspect them for pyramid snails and bore hole eating sponges. You can find more information on the web about both types of infestations and what to do about them.

    New 75g Reef Tank

Oh yeah, no signs of stress. They ate their food and even the shrimp joined in. I hope that the shrimp take care of the aiptasia soon. Fingers crossed that they will be fine. Next week I'll add another fish. Perhaps a goby or blennie of some sort.

    Latest ammunition ban

There are enough corrupt cops in those places to make enough of it disappear over time.
