    Getting ready to buy a 210. Can't decide on reef ready or pre-drilled. What I do not like is the black plastic towers on reef ready. Anyone have an opinion?

    You don't have to expense wildlife to see if your water is free from ammonia. I am mildly against that practice. Shrimp are hard enough to keep alive and damsels that live stay in your tank - maybe unwanted and almost impossible to catch. Some people buy live rock to cycle their tank. Live rock...

    I'd compare this aquarium to the Shedd... in fact maybe better only because you can go outside and watch otters and seals, etc.. in their natural habitat.

    Which filter should I buy.

    I would get a sump and an in sump skimmer. With a reef ready tank is there a choice? I guess you could use a canister as a 2nd filter, but not needed immediately. I have a 90 reef ready and use what I suggested. I have LR which is also a natural filter. you were looking for a brand - sorry...
