    mel im planning on ordering that same reactor, but i think i will use rowaphos instead of phosban... many people prefer rowaphos over any other phosphate removal media.

    how big is it? when mine was little, it was transparent and you could see his "entrails" which gave him a blue hue.

    also, make sure you have some water flow over the sand bed to avoid detritus build ups. my hermits usually keep my sandbed stirred up enough that it stays white. a word of caution about engineer gobies: they like to dig and can cause landslides if your rock work isnt very stable! HTH

    well that would help eliminate dead spots... again, if you could list your tank dimensions, it would be easier to tell what you need.
