Led zep you can find nori in the asian section of the store. Ask the manager. Most stores carry it if they do not.

    brittle star

Stay away from the green ones. They are iffy as predators and may snack on your fish that would be easier for it to catch in a 10gal tank. There are some really brightly colored serpant stars.

    Home made fish food.

People even use garlic on there fishing lures to attract fish. No joke. Lettuce and spinach leaves I'd stay away from. It takes them longer to break down in the fishes system unless you nuke it for around 10 sec's to break down the glucose. Still not very nutritious. Go with the Nori and garlic...

    Flame angel

Mine is great. Have plenty of established LR for it to pick at and feed it. Mine loves the emerald entree mixed cubes. The reef safe part really depends on the fish. I have 2 try anything friends that have triggers in their reef tank, but they have to feed them plenty.

    green mandarin and spotted mandarin.

Don't get 2 males together. Male and female or females if your tank is established enough (pods). If you have a wrasse he may pic at them bc of food competition. I have seen multiples in a seahorse tank that do awesome.

    Home made fish food.

Making it is alot healthier for your fish and cheaper. Don't blend too much. You just want it in small pieces not soap. Did that my first time. Alot of grocerie stores and even Wal-mart carry a seafood stir fry pack that is frozen. No additives. No water added. They will be in their own...

    Tube Anemone

Anyone have any experience with tube or "button" anemone? Picked up a really bright orange one with a neon green center. I read low lighting is good and that they can be a problem with really young/small clownfish b/c they will sting/eat one if given the chance with a fish that hasn't chosen a...

I'll swipe the wifey's camera and see what I can do. Just moved so I'm having a blast re-rearranging my scape.

    Plague of Green Brittle Starfish!!!!

Mine is almost 2ft across now and I am feeding it a whole shrimp, oyster or small fish filet twice a week. When I put in dt's for my corals the bugger comes rushing out like crackhead and shoots up the glass for the baster. Freaks the wife out!

    How Many Wrasses?

I have a sixline and a radiant in the same tank. They were the same size when introduced to each other so no real bullying occurred. After a few days they got along great and now explore the tank together. Both had great personalities at the lfs. That and size is what I went by when pairing them...

    yellow tang lokking anorexic

Try the nori. Get it dried or toasted from your local grocery store. No flavored stuff. If the algae clip freaks him out try to tie it around a small piece of LR. If he's too bad you may want to soak some of it in vitamins before offering it.

    open water fish?

A six line would hold up to the damsels. Probably the most fun fish to watch swimm around and explore your tank.

    Proper lights for a fuge.

Those new energy efficient bulbs work great in the clip ons too. Most brands have the kelvin rating on them. If not call the company-I never feel bad about it.

    hydor ph for a 55g?

2's and 3's are physically the same size. Different size propellors =650? and 850gph. 4 would be huge in your tank. 2 #2's sound perfect.

    This Fish Is ?

I just got one of my fish magazines in that has an entire article on these. It's packed up, but when I get home I'll search for it and tell you what I can. I remember they are one of the easier ones to keep. Feed well and are reef safe. Be back tomorrow.

    Powerhead help please

I am using the koralia's and like them alot. You'll like the bell shape of flow. Can angle and direct the current where you like, and with the magnet on the back you can place them wherever you want in the tank. Be sure if you get a 2 or 3 it reads NEW on the front of the box. The older ones had...
