would a 175 watt mh hanging over plastic melt it? (8 inches off of water) the plastic i am talking about are those tubs you keep in your garage with the rope handles where basketballs and toys go in.

i am interested in the orange/yellow zoo's in the 2nd picture and a maxijet.

if i put a 175 watt mh over the top of a 20 long will the water be the same temp as if i put a 175 watt mh of a 20 high?

do DE's produce more heat than mogul?

leathers and lps/sps have chemical warfare like softies vs. lps/sps. hte softies will always win.but, you can try to over ride it with a very large tank with lots of carbon and heavy skimming. yes sometimes sundial snails eat zoanthids(think its sundial) the guy at you lfs seems very knowledgeable
