    Clownfish question Never seen this

Try to see if they have been or are biteing at a spot on the rocks near the anemone. They do this to clean a spot to lay eggs and often this can cause their lips to turn white and ragged. Not sure about them biteing each others lips, never seen mine do that.

    What Is It?

Looks like a fairly healthy ( but confused, and may split soon ) GBTA to me. With that lighting and the location, should open big. Might want to try to get that ric above it, out of the way.

    What do Anemones eat....

Yep, Dr. Shimek wrote in his book that when feeding crustations to anemones ( esp. BTA ), the compleat shrimp should be digested, even the ectoskeleton with the exception of the chitin. I never see mine regurgitate anything. Nice pics.

Perhaps a mate for it and call it full. Personally I feel a 24g is too small for a Maroon for them long term.

    I did it anyways.

A singlely kept clown of two years old is IMO, nearly certain to have already turned female long ago. What you have done is often the recomended way with an established Female, though it often is successfull most of the time, I will agree not always.

how to make your bubble tip split...

Putting one under stressfull conditions ( like moveing to another tank ) or cutting half way through it can often result in a successfull split, or, also can often end up killing them. Feeding them alot sometimes works but still takes time and could just result in a bigger anemone. No guarantees...
