Hay Murph, do you think a dwarf lion in a 45g mixed reef would work?? I keep a pair of percs, LMB and neon gobie. The only thing i'm worried about is the gobie because of the size. thanks

Good idea Acrylic51! That way you won't have to change the wiring (for now) to see it it is operational.

I agree with Pro Truck for the most part. I run 2- URI Super Actinic, 1- URI white actinic & 1- 6500k NO ( GE "Daylight" normal output bulb from DH) The 6500k seems to offset the very blue look a bit and brighten the tank. Plus the 6500k bulbs are like $5, so its at least worth checking it out...

You must cap off the the wires not being used in the extra endcaps (not being used). Trying to run three bulbs in a four bulb configuration, the circut is open and therefor the bulbs can't be lit. Go to icecapinc.com website and check out the wiring for the 3 bulb configueration. HTH

I have 2x 95w URI VHO Aquasun(10k) bulbs. One bulb is brand new in box, the other was in use about three weeks. I switched to t-5 lighting and no longer need these. $20 + shipping for both thanks

You could also try replacing one of the white actinics with a 6500k NO bulb if you are using an IC ballast. This kind of balances out the white light, IMO.

Tanksalot, i beleive they will power 24" bulbs they will just be over driven and you will need to purchase higher end endcaps to be on the safe side. The ones provided will work fine if using 54w bulbs but seeing you would be overdriving the bulbs i suggest using good moistureproof endcaps...

I have a brand new t5 HO 2x54w electronic ballast(same ballast that came with my new retro from Sunlight Supply) with 2 pair of endcaps(sockets) and the 18 gauge wire for sale. I bought the ballast a month ago and was going to use it on my 55 gallon tank, but decided to go with (2) 39w ballasts...
