    Here comes the algae ....HELP!!!!!!!

A few months ago, I was in the same situation you are - everything is fine except all the darn algae! I was told to boost up my Clean Up Crew. My attitude was skeptical, but I tried it. It worked great. Hermits, snails and a couple emerald crabs. Took less time than I thought to have it...

    just a cute picture. IMO

I've had one in the tank now for about 3 months. My hermits don't bother it. Its not as large as it once was - I think due to less algae around to eat. I also have had to remove him from the filter outlets a time or two.

    Coral Beauty and Xenia

I think I read somewhere about someone's Coral Beauty nipping at their Xenias. That got me to thinking. I have had success with several corals, but never with Xenias. While they flourish for many (almost like a weed), I can never get them to propser or even maintain. Could it be that my...

    Question with compatibility

Yellow tangs can be a bit aggressive. I've been told to add it as a last fish in the tank. I wish I had. Now I can't add any other tangs due to the yellow tang already being in there.

    brisltle worms

From time to time I have sucked some out with a turkey baster. I don't worry about getting them all, but if I start seeing them regularly, I take them out. I'm sure there are more that I don't see that are part of the CUC.

    Reef Safe? Conflicting opinions

I have been asking shops and others that I know if the following are reef safe: Hawk fish Sailfin Tang I'd be interested to hear your input from your experience or what others say. Some tell me yes, some tell me no. Also, I have been told that you can't keep other Tangs in with a yellow tang...
