I put a couple Koralias in my 55g and had the same questions. Regarding the flow, yes, that is how they are supposed to work. It should have come with a "cone" that snaps on the front, this will help direct the flow a little bit but its optional. I didn't realize how much flow I had in my tank...

I have read in many other posts that you don't want to bring the sg up too quickly. They suggested using mixed saltwater as a top-off until it gets up to where it should be. Depending on how fast your water evaporates it could take days.

Zoas don't require much light at all. I have them in my 55g with only pc lighting. They seem to be spreading and doing well.

If you have a Randalli pistol I would like to know what you feed it. SWF says flake and pellet, but most other places I have looked say they need a meaty diet. I have one coming in on Thurs. in hopes he will pair with my yellow watchman.

I've had these 2 for about 2 months and they are always together. I mainly wanted to check to make sure there wasn't something wrong with them.

Actually yes, and I just saw the other one do the same thing. They seem to be hanging out in front of a little cove in one of my rocks.

One of my clowns looks like it is having a seizure. It is swimming around and every once in a while it has a violent shake. All the other fish seem OK. Any ideas?

You are going to get yelled at for using pH up :) What is your SG? Do you have something breaking the surface of the water?

I got a bubble mushroom as my first coral. It has just about doubled in size in about a month and I only have PC lighting. The only problem I had was it kept moving around in the middle of the night.

I had had a problem with pH in my tank for about the first 2 months, I couldn't get over 7.8. I added a HOB protein skimmer and it has been good ever since then. Before the skimmer I had a thick layer of oily substance on the top of the water, I am guessing that was affecting the gas exchange.

Acclimated for about 2 1/2 hours. I have a 55g. I did not see it eat when I fed the clowns. Clowns get flake and i put it a little mysis for the angel.

Who wants to take a guess why my Angel died so quickly? I drip acclimated it and it seemed fine for the first day. Yesterday it was staying in the rocks, but swimming around and looking good. Today I went home for lunch and he was toast. The only thing I can think of is stress, the LFS chased...

I would be OK with some babies. My rocks are pretty bare right now, it would liven it up a bit.
