Thank you all for all your help. Now that he's gone, what do I need to do to the QT (10 gal) to get it set back up and ready to go again? Water change? How much? Fallow time?

Thanks, Joe. We'll keep an eye on Dotty. We haven't seen her act aggressive towards the other fish. However, she did pick up one of the hermit crabs in her mouth today and spit him off her rock. He went flyin'... The damage to the six-line wrasse was pre-Dotty days.

Since I added a dwarf flame angel to my 46 gal., 2 of my 3 peppermint shrimp have disappeared and my xenias have been eaten. My zoos, mushrooms and devil's hand have not been touched. Absolutely a gorgeous fish, though.

I just looked behind my tank and saw these things in my skimmer! Can anyone tell me what they are? (I assume they have something to do with the snails in my CUC). What do I do with them? Do I need to get them out? BTW - my dotty's still doing great and just about ready to go into the DT.

Yes. I took the filter apart and examined it closely (well, at least I thought I examined it closely), but saw nothing. He is still doing wonderful. No sign of any problems. Color is great, very active and good appetite.
