It's been a while since I bought a heater...in fact, I don't think they even had metal ones back then. Anyway, I was wondering what peoples opinions are of the two. Any negatives to the metal ones?

I figured not to even look into getting the florida live sand because I figured it was larger grains. Am I wrong? I want the sand to be white which will match the larger amount of dead sand I use. Is the florida stuff white? If so, I may just go with that.

I was thinking of ordering the NATURE'S OCEAN bioactive aragonite live sand from this site. I was wondering if anyone has ordered this and can tell me what size in mm the sand is and especially what color it is. Thanks.

I was wondering, before I purchase one, if a coral banded shrimp needs to be fed in a 90 gallon reef tank. I have a scarlet cleaner shrimp that does not require feeding...he picks of the LR and will eat if food falls to him, but I do not have to spot feed him. I guess I'm wondering if it will...

my opinion is...why take them out if they are already in the tank? They can't do any harm. Only provides extra bio filtration.

Don't know what BDR is, but I always like going with smaller fish and less of them - more room for them to move around.
