Ok well whatever that was spilling out of my filter it didn't seem to affect things too much... It may have even been sand. I am very glad and lucky for this!! :D

Knock on wood i have not had any problems with disease. I know the possiblity is always there. So to be perpared can anyone inform me on how to set up a smaller size hospital tank .. hopefully something not too exspensive. Do they need the same kind of filers as the main tank? Do they have to...

Last night it got pertty cold. I was nto sure when the right time is to put my heater in. When I got up this moring the temp changed from 77 or 76 to about 74 or 75. A change like that can be harmful, right? Do you think that is enough to send my clown into shock?? Also.. I guess its time...

Jack my water is as follows: ph 8.3 to 8.4 nitrites 0 nitrates 0 amonia 0 sality 1.24 or .25 temp 78 to 80 is it ok that it flutuates two degrees every now and then? let me know how well u think this is.. I can;t wait for the lemon peel! :) ;)
