My PH in my DT and QT has been lower than usual, does anyone know why this could be? The only thing I can think of is that I now have a ro/di system that is working correctly so could the crappy water I had before have a higher ph?

I'll be mixing angels with mushrooms in a few months so I could let you know what I find out at that point if your interested

You can get it now and then add to it later you would just need to cure the new rock first. Theres a few good threads on it you basically put it into a seperate heated container with flow and take it through its own sort of cycle process.

yeup the nitrates have been at 0 the last few times i've checked. So i'm guessing some emarld crabs would be a good idea?

Still looks good, from what I can see inside the fuge theres some good life growing. My DT tank also has 0 nitrates right now, not sure how much the sand has to do with that but I'm sure its doing its part.
