aallright I have a 150 gallon tank with about 60 pounds of LR, so plenty of room and 100 ppounds of sand so about 1/2-1 inch sand bed. But still you guys think that these guys are a waste of money?
ophira or anyone else do you think it would be ok to add a sand sifting starfish to an 2.5 month old tank that has had stable levels for about a month with a little -ate fluctuation?? If I cant put him in, how long should i wait to do it??
I have some film liek stuff on my sand and im pretty sure thats is diatoms because it is a light brown. is this correct of do i ahve a cyano infection???
when you add salt mix to the water for an water change will it take out all of the harmful trace ellements inside of it liek chlorine and that stuff???? (I am using tap water not ro/di)
1st off great looking tank:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: It looks so full. ANd secondly does your trigger bother anyone or because there are so many fish he is in check most of the time???

sorry to hijack, but what would be a good turnover rate for a 150 galon soon to be reef? right now i have about a 1/8th horsepower pump, im not sure how many gph that is , but it gives a idea
I dont mean to hijack or anything, but are clams filter feeders or do they just need strong lights like shrooms and zoos? Also, how long do you have to wait for your tank to be set up?? I doubt if 2 months would be ok for a clam :notsure: :notsure:
