    Moving Display Tank

Well, to answer a couple questions.......your display tank will have to run fishless for 6 weeks of you have had any fish with ich in it. If not then you will need to qt all your fish in your current tank for 6 weeks. It should actually work out well. You can add your corals, inverts and live...

    Copperband Butterfly question/concern..newbie

No worries.......I almost cried when I traded my cichlids in to start my saltwater tank. One of the main things is that you buy these animals wanting to care for them and give them the healthiest life possible and when you see one of them being nasty to the other it kind of feels like one of...

    Finished Display Refuge!

I wouldn't really go the route of having anything that will eat any beneficial creatures in your fuge, like seahorses. They eat pods and you want those in your fuge. I would go the route of having a really cool stocklist of inverts, like lots of ornametal shrimps and different types of snails...

    Corals dying....

oh wow...definitely DO NOT add another fish or anything until you get your nitrates down and sg up. You can't just bring your sg up all of a sudden.....be prepared to lose your fish and other corals if you do that. Do it gradually over the course of three days or so. Also your nitrates will only...

    Safe To Add Valentini Puffer?

Please definitely let me know how it goes because I absolutely love puffers and would love to have one but have always held back because of my corals and inverts. I would love to add one to my tank.

    Anemone will not extend

you should be good more or less. I have 48 watts total on my 29 and my bubbletip is doing fine. I would say it is most likely the temperature. when i lowered mine from 79 to 77 it did better........someone told me it keeps animals at a higher stress level when it is hotter...but idk if that is...

    Safe To Add Valentini Puffer?

Well, there you go!!! Maybe they are too small to cause a large problem?? So it sounds like there is a risk but it may be a small one if you have tiny inverts like a sexy shrimp......idk if they would be safe for corals though??

    Attack of the brown algae

Cut down feeding to one time a day......and you can skip a day here and there......won't hurt at all. How long are the lights on for? And....add more cuc. Turbo snails, nassarius snails, astreas. they all work well for this.

Which Corals Are Safe To Keep With Angelfish?

Look up Bellus angel......really beautiful and reef safe. One of the only ones that is. Coral beauty and flame are your next choices.

    Safe To Add Valentini Puffer?

All puffers are I believe. They pack a large bioload too because the are usually strictly carnivorous. I maybe wouldn't risk this and get something else. Something like a larger flasher wrasse that is reef safe could be beautiful and not such a risk.....Maybe an ornate wrasse. They are...

29g The Not So Nano... Nano

I would go with your gut on this one. If you put all that time and energy into it and then can't maintain it because of school and other necessary evils then it ends up being kind of a waste. I would wait until you have a bigger system and more time.

    filter socks and carbon.....

i imagine it would some. i actually took mine out though and added chemipure elite and I will tell you I had some nitrates and they are going down whereas with the carbon they weren't. They were never super high anyway but they were about 20-25 and now they are 10 so that makes me feel that...
