    I would look into a 4 bulb T5 setup, TEK and aquactnics are the best, nova might be fine with the corals you listed with good placement. It is correct that the feather dusters don't need light but the others you listed do, not sure about flame scallops.

    If the T5 has individual reflectors it will put a lot more light in the tank then a PC fixture, T5's are also more efficient to run but are more expensive to buy if you get a good setup.

    Because certain corals such as zoanthids and palythoas are toxic. Some to the point that the smallest amount getting in your blood stream can be deadly. Reefkprz has a thread about it if you want to read up on it.
