What to recommend for transporting water from LFS??

7 gal. blue containers from wal mart. They have a spigot on them and after you fill your tank they are nice for topping off with no mess.

Tigger people: can I add this fish?

We have a Bluejaw and a Niger. Both I think would hold their own against eels but they are not mean or threatening to anything else in the tank. The Niger is the coolest fish. Lots of personality and great colors.

Tigger people: can I add this fish?

I think I saw the fish you are talking about. If it is at the store by american tv. My wife talked to the guy in the fish room and he said that it killed everything in the tank of the guy who originally bought it. I dont know if that included any eels. Sure is a great looking fish. I had to...

    lotta bugs

My tank is about six months old. When I shine a light in there at night I see lots of bugs all over the live rock. I guess these are pods. I also have hundreds of tiny bugs that swim through the water. Are these pods also or what? They are only there at night and there are a LOT of them.

    critter ID

I have a 5 month old FOWLR. In addition to a few fish (no two of the same species) I have assorted hermits, one fighting conch and a bunch of turbos. Just this last week i noticed a bunch of baby snails. I am assuming these are turbos but may be something different from the live rock. Just...

    lights

I think that is what they are getting at, their reflector is more efficient. As long as there is one person using them with good results, I think I will try them. Thanks

    lights

The 48" one I was looking at is only $114. It has onlt 2-65W bulbs but says it puts out more light than coralifes 4-65W. I am a bit sceptical of that claim but all I want is mushrooms and soft corals.

Does anybody have any experience with these lights "Custom SeaLife New Smart Lite PowerCompact Light " If so is the claim valid that these lights put out 2.5X the light of other PC systems. The claims are that this system with 2-65W puts out more light than competitors 4-65W. Is this possible...

    worms

I got a new rock from the LFS which has really good life on it. There are a bunch of little serpent star type critters and some slug like snails. The things I am trying to identify are some type of worms that stick straight out of the rock when the lights go out. They are very thin, like a hair...
