    My new reef tank

I had some time to work on my stand today. It's coming along pretty well. It's made out of two by fours and will have ply wood sides. It sits 32" high to make it 48" overall after I add the tank. I am trying to figure out what kind of wood to put on the front of it and what to do about the...

    My new reef tank

I currently have a 37g reef and am planning on "upgrading" to a 40g breeder setup. I know it's nothing much but it's really all I can have for now, plus there is limited space (that my girlfriend will allow) for me to set it up in. Anyway, I am going to document my tank build. Hope you like it...

Should I raise my MH lighting?

What is your temp at the current level? I know I couldn't keep my 29 under 85 when it was right over the tank. I've since upgraded to a bigger tank and the temp is stable. The only problem with moving it higher is you lose light intensity the further away it gets from the tank.

    General SPS Question

I was wondering if there are certain times during the year that are better for suppliers to have SPS. It seems like right now my LFS's are getting a lot more SPS than usual. Also, I noticed that this site has a lot more for sale than normal.

    Candy Cane - Injured!

How did it get like that from a turkey baster? I am really clumsy and accidently hit mine or have rocks fall on them all the time. Maybe they are just dying a slow painful death...haha
