    Acan Lords.....OMG....Pricey

Went to my favorite saltwater store today, and actually walked out with nothing. This is a first for me. They had several corals from someones breakdown that were absolutely outstanding. Wish I had a pic to show you all. One in particular was of a red AcanLord that was a good 14" across and 8"...

    Book recommendations?

I always reach for my book by Eric Borneman...Aquarium Corals. Pricey, but has saved me many times. I feel this a must have book for coral.

I agree, need a brighter image, and from the top if possible. Could be a paly or majano.

Very nice start. I would think about a background as your next purchase. Blue or black.

    New pics of 92g corner

Interesting, you have more powerful lighting, yet they are bluer. Maybe I should lower them in the tank? I see yours are on the lower 1/3rd of the tank. I'll try this and see what happens. Mine are growing and spreading nicely, just don't have the blue color. Thanks for the info.

BEAUTIFUL, Puffer32. I wish I could keep mine on the sand bed, my diamond goby would have it covered in sand in about a day.

    coral beauty>>>>>

The coloration is very close to mine, it is probably from the Marshall islands, as is mine. Here is a pic of mine, almost 3 yrs old now (at least in my care).

    My brain about to explode.....

Great picture. Mine never puts out it feeder tentacles until the moon lights are one, so I have yet been able to take a decent pic. I really like your brains colors.

    I

Now that you have some moon lights you will be able to see all sorts of night critters too. They are an awesome addition to a tank. Have fun watching.

recent pics.(it can be done sumpless)

I change my carbon...Kent Marine Reef Carbon, every 2 wks. This is very important for me because I have hard and soft corals, (leathers included). I also run poly filters to help with any chemical warfare. These are changed out monthly.

    New pics of 92g corner

Just curious, what type of lighting do you have? I have some blue mushrooms and they are half way up, but don't have that nice blue color. They are what I would concider to be lavender in color, but should be blue. I have 150w hqi 10k metal halides.

My tank is sumpless also. I am working on hiding the pumps with a plexiglass screen per say. Or should I say my other half is working on this. It can definately be done, good to see that I am not the only one.

Hi all, I wanted to post this a few days back but the site was upgrading and I had trouble uploading pics. Now I can....Yeah!!! Here is my brain when I got home from work early and the halides where still on. It was massive. I very rarely see it this big. Post some of your pics too, lets see...
