    Bristle worms good or bad?

You are correct. I think the one I was thinking of is, all squares are quadrilaterals but not all quadrilaterals are squares. I've been out of school longer than youve been on this earth. LOL

How long can you run your tank with out a skimmer?

Then dont sweat it, the refugium does the same thing the skimmer does, only better.

    Bristle worms good or bad?

I voted they are good although there are a few that are bad. The mahority of the ones brought in my the aquarium hobby are good and beneficial to your aquarium. If you have a lot in your system, then you are overfeeding your tank. They will only multiply to keep up with the wqaste in your tank...

    Please Help!!! Trapped Fish!!!

Go to your local craft store and get some plastic grid used for nedle point or hook and loop rugs. I kind of looks like miniature eggcrate and is made from flexible plastic. Although flexible, it is firm enough to cut a pice to fit the opening in the chamber, keping the fish out. Adairable...

    Engineer Goby Question

I have two engineer gobies, one is about 8 inches and the other is about ten inches. Neither one has ever bothered any other fish. They both regularly eat whatever I feed the tank, flake, frozen, pellets, they even eat silversides.

    New 90G Reef (Almost)

I dont see any, so I would recommend installing a GFCI. A Ground Fault Circuit Interupter. You can buy a power strip with one built in or now they have one that plugs right into a dual outlet. It has two outlets and both are protected. It cost around 15 bucks. Other than that, it all looks good...

    ro/di users

I actually save money by buying the RO/Di unit. I used to buy RO water at 50 cents a gallon. Now its costs me pennies per gallon. I dont have any waste water because whenever I proces RO/DI water, I run the drain line into my washing machine, I dont waste any water this way.

Can I use sand from the beach?

All of your sand does not have to be live sand. Some people seed their sand with just a cup of sand from an established tank. If you already have live rock, then you dont need live sand, the rock will seed the sand. I have about 75 pounds of live rock in my 45 gallon tank and about 10 in my...

    The dreaded "Clicking"

I used to hear a clicking in my tank. Then I found out it was just a hermit crab banging its shell against the glass as it walked along the edge of the tank.

Can I use sand from the beach?

You can but then you risk polluting your tank with everything normally found on public beaches, like tanning lotions, motor oils from boats, spit, urine, medical waste etc. I wouldnt risk putting any of them in my tank just to save a few bucks.

My Royal Gramma eats anything I put in the tank, flake, frozen, pellets, live black worms. It was never really shy though either. When I put it in the tank, it swam all around as if to investigate its new surroundings.
