it may "seperate" from the tooth pick some but they heal pretty quick. I wouldn't worry too much. A tight rubberband can cut it in half slowly. My kenya tree coral did that and now i have two pieces growing happily.
You can take it out and hold it down with a rubber band. Or

it with a tooth pick and glue the tooth pick down. Keep in mind the current thing wherever you move him. They do need a decent flow on them.
The store i work at has one for 2700... Its acrylic and comes with sump, drilled holes, and some other things. I think that price includes shipping as well. It's still in the cardboard all wrapped up. Let me know if you are interested

I can get you in touch with my boss.
Its still alive. I've seen leathers just detach. I guess its an unhappy thing. Try and place it in an area of decent water flow and it will probably "open up" some more and eventually attatch. They are pretty resilient.
thats not enough light. Expect them to die in the next couple of days. I would try and take them back now if you can. You need alot of light to keeep anemones alive. They have symbiotic algae which requires alot of light. You have the right spectrum of light just not the intensity required...
Well i kinda concur with the starting at any size thing. I started with a 12 and have had no problems. BUT and its a big BUT i was constantly learning new things and going as slow as possible. Fish here. Coral there. Piece of rock there. Take your time and ask questions constantly and you...
2 catalina gobies would work. They are 2 inches max at full size. Catch is the water needs to be 72-76. Or maybe 2 fire fish since they don't swim around a whole lot. Just make sure you have no openings and they have cave structures to hide in.
The guys at work keep a stunning sps 120 display. There are two 10 inch clams in there. They frag all the sps's all the time. They add kents essential elements and coral vite every now and again. They keep the calcium and kh up. Clams are very much photo synthetic. Their color is a...
possibly. He looked like crap when i bought him but i didn't really know better at the time. He's beautiful now. about 5 inches fat and almost 10 long....
lawnmower blenny or mexican turbo snails. 3 other options are put less nutrients in the water (food additives), burn the lights less, or water quality.
BTW i think a bicolor blenny may work too....
most definitely. If you are unsure keep them directly below the light where its most intense and then if you want to move them spread them out. You should be fine
I concur with the lighting you need that piece up near the lights. I have my purple tip 6 inches from dual 65 compacts and i worry.....Doing ok so far.
