My new reef tank! WEEK 3

luv your lr. beautiful color to start out with. luv your aquascape. That's a good start. The more void you have btw the rocks, the better to deal with the tank in the long run. Get as most expensive lifestock that you can afford, and is specified to be ok to fit in the tank size you have...

    am i a lunatic?

actually, if that lfs didn't try to sell you their filter, they made their points about having a good filtrating sys. I've running my 55g reef/fish mixed and it's packed with corrals with a good number of fishes. I use 2 HOB Marineland BIO-wheel 350. I took the wheels out and used them just as...

also, let me share the experience I have with this type of light with you. It will generate a tremendous amount of heat both in the room where the tank is in and in the water. Your tank will have an increase of at least 3degrees when MHs get turned on. And that's when MHs are 9in away from the...

when I bought my frogspawn, they had it glued on a pc of rock with that grey expoxy. 3 months later, they fell apart. I had to use 40lb fishline to tie the coral to the rock.

    New sump and refugium build

hi Darren, I have a few questions please. 1. Where did you get those 2 black fittings that go into the holes on your 10g? 2. Did you have to glue your 1" connectors where the elbows are onto the black fittings? 3. I looked really carefully into the images and I still couldn't figure out how you...

    Need Help

until you switch over to RO/DI, your tank will go throu this cloudiness and green/brown algae build up for a long time, because tap water contains alot of celica that feeds brown/green algae. Not only that, tap water will do serious damage to any of your saltwater livestock. So, either go to...
