im pretty sure ill be upgrading my lights to 150w MH in 2 weeks. when should i start feeding the anemone's again?

when should i feed both of them? or did they allready grow there mouths and stuff

keep them in the QT tank and treat it with ich treatment, then see if it goes away in a week or so

i was flipping my rock over randomly and i just found out my anemone split!! u have no idea how excited i am to have this happen. and apprarently my lighting isnt enough, y would it split?? :D

i think the long tentacle anemones tentacles curl up naturally like rose bubble anemones have bubbles in them. ive seen alot of LTA's with the curly tentacle, nothing to be worried about

alright cool. they have to have a ballast at the set with them too then.. aweomse, now i only need the bulb

well if they use other 150w lights that are not based for a fishtank, wont they need a ballast too?

im planning on getting the 150w 6,500k medium base MH light. i plan on switching out the bulbs and replacing it with that light.im pretty sure the pendant he is going to get can support this much wattage, becuase he said he had moggul based pendants and the ones for lower wattage.

my dad works for the movie business and he says there are alot of pendant lights laying around that he could take home. is it possible for me to get a mh light for my 22g tank and put it into the pendant, he says he has mogul based lights but that would be too strong for my tank. any suggestions...

my lfs guy told me he doesnt know why it shouldnt be doing fine in my tank, hes very healthy and fat he just has lost his color before i bought him a month or so ago, i bought the anemone bleached, so if he can bring it back to its original color, i dont think he will become bleached in my tank.
