Should however I have found some clowns dont like pellets just depends on how they were raised and where they came from. If you notice he isn't eating id get some flakes. If you have the money start getting into the bigger and better stuff.

Ive actually wondered why Maroons shift the sand with their tails. I have one in a 115 and no corals or inverts he seems to like to wag his tail in the sand moving it around.
Id suggest just to go out and buy the good stuff as for a nano tank you dont need that much rock meaning it wouldnt cost much to stock it with the correct rock. Don't skimp here this is a very important addition to a working system.
