Were the seahorses tank-raised or wild-caught? Usually, tank-raised will accept frozen foods. However, most wild-caught come in with diseases. Did you quarantine them? I heard mysis shrimp are some of the best things for seahorses. Try this website, they know tons about seahorses...

Tangs grow rather large and will become stressed in too small an environment and that will usually lead to infection and disease (ich, etc.). However, a small tang may work in a 55, like a purple or a Kole tang. HTH

Yellow and blue tangs will get far too large for a tank that size! SOme suggestions for fish who will NOT outgrow your tank are: pygmy angel butterfly lionfish a small tang, like a Kole or a purple Just some of the choices here, have fun setting up! :)
