    "Whale Wars"

I did not know there were so many maritime law experts on here...Before you say its illegal you may want to do some in-depth research on the subject fisrt. FWIW-The reason 2 people were arrested is b/c in one episode they actually did board a sip without authorization. They were released though...

Ok, well that should be fine, since its a 125g. I do the same thing at times. I thought you meant you stir the entire sand bed up!

    Latticed Butterfly

Hopefully it is already eating, butterfly fish are notoriously difficult to get eating. I feed my butterflies mysis, brine, and a special food made by my lfs. They usually will also be grazing on live rock throughout the day as well eating feather dusters, aiptasia, and other things it finds...

    Greedy Puffer

How long has the tank been set-up? First off, your tank is really too small for a puffer, and your already over-stocked IMO. Yes, your puffer will eat snails, they LOVE them! Or, you can get a long spine black urchin, do water changes, redue the amount of time yourlights are on, and replace the...

Starting a new tank and don't know what to put in it..

A dwarf lion would be fine, I was actually reffering to the Radiata lion. I had one myself actually. They need a good "cave" to hide in and typically are not nearly as hardy as a volitan, nor are they seen too often for sale.

Why You Shouldnt Use Tap Water (Part 2)

What are you testing for? What types of problems were you having in your tank? Did the tap water miraculously cure these problems? A tap water filter is not the same as an ro/di system by the way...

Why You Shouldnt Use Tap Water (Part 2)

RO/DI systems are NOT the miracle product they are made out to be. Proper maintenence and water changes are a MUST in order to maintain ideal water params and a sucessful, healthy tank. I would like the OP to PROVE that the pictures in part 1 to part 2 are a direct result of tap to ro/di water...

    Butterfly tank mate

Those are good hardy choices. If you were to add two of them, do it at the same time. You will also want to add either the Threadfin and Heni or the Racoon and the Heni, but beware that Racoon's tend to be quite aggressive, while the heni is very passive. The heni will also do MUCH better if...

Why you shouldn't use tap water (Part 1)

This is nonsense, not all tap water is as bad as people make it out be. I find it ammusing that people blame EVERYTHING that is wrong with their tank on tap water. I use nothing but tapwater in my tank and have zero issues. Originally Posted by soulsigma Why you shouldn't use tap water...
