    Dragon Goby

I have one, and for the most part, it's reef safe, but it does eat small shrimp when it comes across them. It also digs monsterous holes in the sand under rocks (which is what I was looking for in my FOWLR tank, but dang...he's caved in on himself and my ribbon eel twice now)

    can you?

Yes to all of the above. Although my harlequin has declared a sort of treaty with my hermits, he'll munch any snail in the tank. The lunare however, will eat anything that moves in front of it that fits in his mouth.

    Puffer Info

In a 29gal tank, I'd only suggest a toby/sharp-nosed puffer. They stay under 10" unlike most other puffers. Something in the Canthigaster genus...something like this: https://www.saltwaterfish.com/valin.html You can do a search via webcrawler/google or something with the word "canthigaster" and...

The grouper was probably just the last straw...it happens a lot when tanks are over stocked, and unless you have a massive tank, that's what has happened. I'd suggest getting rid of some fish if it's possible. Although I'd like to say starting with the triggers, but I'd really look into getting...

Sebae clown with a pair of goldstripes

If you have a reliable place for the sebae to go if the maroons attack him, I'd say it's worth a shot. Or get another tank :D That's always been my solution to any given fish problem lol (Mind you, I now live in an aquarium/petting zoo)

Good call Silkks, I'd forgotten about the foxface with all the triggers and the eels.

First off: Way too many fish that don't mix in that tank. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just telling you what's going on. How big is this tank? Do you have a quarantine tank that you could put the wrasse in? You might want to get the other triggers out. The huma huma probably took over where...

    Snake - OT

If you haven't already given it away, I'll take it. One more won't hurt the zoo :D ( I also know my reptiles, so you can trust it would be in good hands) I live in Sweetwater, about 3 hours away.

    blue linckia w/ porcupine puffer?

I'm betting that the starfish will become a quick snack for the puffer. I know that they eat serpent stars, and they're soft-bodied like the linckias.

    Mandarian vs Scooter

Having a very established tank is the only tried and true thing that I've found to work. A lot of people will rush getting a mandarin or a scooter blenny because they see a couple of pods, not realizing just how much these little fish eat. It just depends on your tank :)

Sebae clown with a pair of goldstripes

It would be taking a chance...while sebae clowns are typically less aggressive, maroon clowns are typically *more* aggressive...added with the faction of there being two of them, I'd say be *really* careful with this. Maroons have those nasty cheekspines that make quick work of other fish. They...

    Harlequin Tuskfish

I have mine in a 90gal with a porker puffer and all is well with them.

Big Eye squirrelfish....are my inverts at risk?

Squirrelfish eat snails, worms, shrimp, some crustaceans...they also get a bit big. Some of them reaching 10" while most top out around 8". They're very active swimmers and nocturnal.

    Cowfish

Some cowfish (the really popular ones in the aquarium business) get abour 18" long not counting the "horns". They're not reef safe..their diet is very ecclectic...puffer-like. However, they usually starve to death in the aquarium. They're also susceptible to anemones.

    Entertainment Tonight........ lionfish boring?

I think it's totally dependant on the lionfish. P. Volitans and P. Russelli are much more active within the water column. (Meaning that they hang out in the middle of the water i.e. more entertainment for most people) But I've had lionfish forever, and I've never found them even slightly boring...

    Red sea fang blenny

There is a pretty good assortment of fang blennies. I'm not sure, by that name, which one you're thinking of though. My personal favorites are M. atrodorsalis, M. Ovalaunensis and M. smithi. They're neat fish.

    Haddoni Carpets?

Anemones, aside from condylactis anemones, are hard for people new to saltwater to take care of. It's not you being new, it's your tank being new. Anemones need established water and a lot of light to live more than a month or so in an aquarium. Save yourself some heartache and money and wait...

    Hawaiian Dragon Eel

Ach...if I only had a tank! I've wanted one forever, but finally settled for a zebra moray. (not that I'm not crazy about my eel, but I did settle because I could never talk myself into dropped 1000+ dollars on a "fish" yaknow?)
