i don't think they are in a really strong flow. the big power heads are at the top and 2 smaller power heads at the middle not aimed at any of the corals. I will try increasing the salinity and maybe adjusting the power heads a bit. Anyone have any othet suggestions????

anyone else have an opinion on how long to leave the lights on???

i'd for example turn the t5 on at 7am, then turn mh from 10-3pm, then t5 from 3-5pm. most corals only need 4 hours of mh anything. would you leave the T5 on all day (until 5pm) or turn off from 10-3 while the MH are running? Thanks

i don't know the right terminology but he seems to be picking at the the smaller buds of the zoos....wiping them right off the frag. I think he he picking so hard around the larger polyps and that dislodges them or loosens them and that is great for my decorator crab who is starting to look like...

twice per day flakes and i have 2 algea clips...he doesnt ever seem to stop eating or picking at my frags...he doesnt know it but his coral lunch costs more than a lobster dinner for me.

What fish and Invertebrates would you avoid having when beginning to dabble in corals. I have a 125g with 150lbs LR and about 700 watts lighting. I'm worried that once I start using the newly purchased lights I will start an algae bloom and want to have enough of a cleaner crew on hand. Thanks!
