I have beautiful corraline algae on both the sides and back of my corner tank. Don't go crazy it looks really great...

The corraline is good. I keep mine off the front of the glass for obvious reasons. The corraline in my tank has even gone so far as to form over each other creating plates of algae. Looks great.
