Those are the same crabs that I have. Either you got really nasty ones or else I got lucky and got two peaceful ones.

Hermit crabs can get to be decent size. Snails shells grow with the snail so you don't need to provide extra shells for them.

That's very interesting. My two left handed hermits I have are the two most peaceful hermits in my tank. The rest of them get kind of spunky, but those two are pretty mellow. Do you have extra shells for them?

My LFS sells them as orange cat snails or something similar to that. I have found that they are very comparable to a turbo snail. I saw no indication that they are dyed, but mine kicked the bucket about a 2 months after I bought it. Good snail though. Also, I haven't bought any more because...

My LFS threw in some as extra's when I bought some red and blue legs. They are a mean crab. The one that got the biggest was killing off all my hermits. He is now not in my tank anymore. I wouldn't recommend them.

The lights are on until approx. 7 pm. I like to be able to watch the tank for awhile after I get home, but then I also like to watch with a flashlight after "bedtime" to see what's running around. 12 hours of light.

Water parems are all good. lighting is on the low side but he is high in the tank. He is in medium current. He seems to be fine except for later in the day. On a side note, my lighting is low, but I'm not upgrading now because I'm buying a 75G and want to save the money for the lights for...

I bought a colt coral 2 weeks ago. I turn my lights on at 7 am. At about 5 pm he tends to shrink up and not extend his polyps anymore. Is this normal? The time in between those times he's big and looking great. It just sucks that he isn't out after I get home from work. TIA

Without a better picture I'm going to say anemone crab. Reef safe and a cool crab.

I feed a little bit of flake food in the morning and then after supper I feed shrimp and prawn eggs. I use a bunch of different shrimp and rotate so they don't get the same type within a couple days. Seems to work well for me.

Thanks guys. I'm not concerned about the pajama as he is about as mellow of a fish as you can get. I can just go in a scoop him up if I want and he doesn't care. I was only concerned about the two clowns together.

I like to get the fish small also, but if I put in a smaller clown will my existing one not take a liking to him? I know all fish are different, but just say on average would most get along with a smaller clown or no?

bobo, sorry about the bob thing, saw that after I posted. What size do you recommend or doesn't it make a difference?
